Bedrooms
Blenheim
Lodge has 11 individually appointed bedrooms,
all with unique and different features.
All
rooms have colour television, tea & coffee making facilities
and the use of hair dryers.
Single,
double, twin and family rooms have en-suite / private bathrooms
or showers.
By
popular request our rooms are exclusively non-smoking.
Note:
We are in the process of refurbishing some of our bedrooms with
new bathrooms, new Laura Ashley curtains and beautiful new and
antique furniture, including fabulously romantic French Louis
beds with roccoco details and solid brass and iron beds from the
upmarket And So To Bed and Feather and Black. As such, some of
the furnishings in the bedrooms will be different from those shown
on our website.
The "Langdale" |
The
Langdale bedroom has a large bay window
with a magnificent panoramic view of Lake Windermere,
the Langdales and surrounding mountains.
This delightful room has an antique William IV four-poster
with pure silk drapes, with a shower and toilet en-suite.
The "Fairfield"
The Fairfield bedroom has a Louis XV suite, a 5' king-sized bed,
and
an en-suite walk-in shower and toilet.
An
antique daybed in the large triple bay window offers an irresistible
resting place to enjoy stunning views of the Fairfield Horseshoe,
part of
the Helvellyn range, and the northern half of Lake Windermere.
The
Fairfield can also be used as a family or twin room.
The "Dalesway"
The views from The Dalesway are of the National Park woodlands, where the Dales Way Walk begins and ends.

The Dalesway has been set up as a French boudoir, with a romantic Louis XV bed boasting roccoco carving and an antique French painted daybed. French antique painted furniture and lovely French style wall lights with crystal drops complement the decor in this room, where there is an en-suite shower and toilet.
The Dalesway can also be used as a family or twin room.
The "Coniston"
The Coniston bedroom has a single bay window
with beautiful views of Lake Windermere and the Claife Heights mountains.
This pretty room has an antique William IV four-poster with pure
silk drapes, with a shower and toilet en-suite.
The
"Attic"
Stunning
antique Louis XV double walnut bed with beautiful roccoco details
set in an eyrie of a room with time-aged wood beams, boasting breathtaking
panoramic views of Lake Windermere and the surrounding mountains
from a velux window. The Attic has a private bathroom with a clawfoot
slipper bath, toilet, and hand held shower. Views from this room
can be seen on the accolades page of our website.
The "Poppies"
There are views to the north of Lake Windermere from the single
bay window in small, cosy, double room is decorated with striking Laura Ashley
colours and soft furnishings. Pieces of antique furniture and lighting in this
room complement a romantically styled white-painted iron bed. The Poppies has
a shower en-suite, with heated towel rail and toilet.
The
"Blue Room"
Enjoy your beauty sleep in this stunning solid antiqued
brass bed with bespoke pocket sprung mattress from the up market
bed shop, And So To Bed. A pretty room decorated with Laura Ashley
colours and soft furnishings, The Blue Room has pretty French painted
antique furniture, including two dainty chairs set in the single
bay window from which you can see the Lake. The Blue Room has an
en-suite shower and toilet.
"Belle
Isle"
Beautifully decorated in Laura Ashley colours and
soft furnishings and complemented by antique French painted furniture,
this single room has a generous antique single bed (3'6"),
with great views to the north of Lake Windermere and the mountains
beyond. There is an en-suite shower and toilet. |
